To keep air circulating at a comfortable temperature within an Industrial building can be difficult and expensive. Alsynite Roof Ventilators are the inexpensive, reliable and effective ventilation solution. Our roof ventilators have been designed to meet AS 2428.1 (1993) to wind speeds of 200 km/hr and the entry of wind-driven rain at a range of 2.5 l/sec under cyclonic conditions. For cyclonic rated areas special fixings are required. Alsynite offers customers two exciting Roof Ventilation options, which will provide fresh air and comfort all year round.
ALSYNITE ROOFVENT 500 INDUSTRIAL VENTILATOR
 |
Economically Priced – Easy To Install |
 |
Variable Pitch Base – For Roofs 0 to 22.5 degrees. |
 |
Maintenance Free With No Running Costs |
 |
High Performance Aluminium Construction |
 |
500mm throat diameter |
The Roofvent 500 system has been developed by Alsynite to meet the demanding needs of today’s industrial building market. Economically priced, the Roofvent 500 is maintenance free and rotates freely and reliably due to the quality bearing system employed. The variable pitch base also allows rapid installation as one size fits most industrial roof pitch angles.
ALSYNITE SPINAWAY INDUSTRIAL VENTILATOR
The Alsynite Spinaway Industrial Ventilator is constructed from rust-resistant, lightweight aluminium alloy. Combined with perfectly balanced vertical winds vanes and a whisper quiet double row of stainless steel bearings, the Alsynite Spinaway Industrial Ventilator features a low starting torque for continuous operation in even the lightest of breezes.
The Alsynite Spinaway Industrial Ventilator is available in six sizes with a throat diameter ranging from 150mm to 950mm. This provides a combination to suit every ventilation need.
|
| Features & Benefits |
| Diameter: Available in 150, 300, 450, 500, 600, 800 and 950mm throat diameters |
| No Operation Costs: Self contained wind powered design - no operational costs incurred |
Reduced Power Costs: Proper ventilation provides a cooler, low humidity working environment, which
reduces the need for costly air conditioning or industrial fans |
| Reduced Installation Costs: Due to the versatility of the variable pitch throat, installation costs are reduced as one unit fits most industrial applications (0˚ to 22.5˚) - not available for 150, 800 and 950mm units |
Reduced Maintenance Costs: Rising damp & humidity causes corrosion of building structures,
painted surfaces, metal fittings and electrical wiring - proper ventilation eliminates these problems |
Ventilation Damper: A manually operated vent damper to restrict or stop the air flow is available for
units of 300, 450, 500, and 600mm diameter |
| 15 Year Warranty: Conditions apply |

CALCULATING THE NUMBER OF VENTILATORS REQUIRED
| 1 |
Determine the Volume (VOL) of the building in cubic metres (Length x Width x Height). |
| 2 |
Dependant on the building type, select the required Air Changes (A/C) per hour, from the table below. |
| 3 |
From local authority records, determine the typical wind speed 6, 12, or 16km/h. This will establish the exhaust capacity litres per second (refer to table). |
| 4 |
Calculate
| No. of Ventilators = |
VOL x A/C x 0.278 _____________ Exhaust Capacity litres per sec
|
| |
(refer to table) |
| NOTE: 0.278 converts m3/hr to litres/second |
